Come for a ride on a totally refit Stiletto Catamaran. This race inspired 27 foot cat has been rigged for safety and a relaxed life sailing the shallow waters of the estuary. This catamaran has comfortable seating aft of the mast with padded bench seats and great leg room. Forward of the mast is the trampoline not for jumping but for a relaxing experience with the sea below and sky above. Passengers in the back stay dry and the Captain can tell any guest on the trampoline if they might get splashed. This catamaran does not heal, lean over, and will never lift a hull with guests on board. She sails wonderfully in the shallow waters shared by dolphins, manatees and sea turtles. Forget about crowds and come onboard, take the helm and learn to sail or lay back and soak up the sun.

The Boats: We have chosen rigid hull inflatable boats (RIBs) specifically for our tours in St. Augustine. These boats are the perfect platform for viewing wildlife at eye level while offering a safe, stable, comfortable dry ride. They are versatile crafts, able to reach into the shallows of the salt marsh and make effortless beach landings for exploring and beach combing. The boats offer plenty of room with seats for all passengers. Shaded seating is available in the rear. They have great range and often cover over 15 miles in an hour and a half trip.
The boats offer a deep-V fiberglass hull and wide beam surrounded by multi-chambered air compartments. These air chambers absorb the impact of prevailing chop and keep the passengers dry inside. The “tubes,” as they are commonly referred to, make a very comfortable seat and viewing platform for guests.
Conventional seating is available for all passengers and while stopping to observe dolphins, birds and manatee, guests can move over to the tube for an eye-to-eye encounter and great photography opportunities.
Our kayaks are Necky Manatou II's. After test driving hundreds of kayaks, we chose these because of their absolute stability and performance. The first boat made that successfully converts from a tandem to solo kayak without losing its efficiency, this boat allows experienced paddlers--and guides--to man it alone.
The majority of our guests enjoy having a partner do some of the work so that they can take turns snapping photos and stopping to observe sea turtles or shore birds as they glide along. Equipped with adjustable seats, foot pegs and rudders, these are comfortable for even the elderly or large paddlers.
To get paddlers from the dock into the kayaks we have a state of the art kayak launcher. This allows guides to help get you fitted into your boat and then literally lower you right into the water. If you've ever tried getting into a kayak from a dock, or even the shore for that matter, then you know why we found this a worthwhile investment.
