1. The Environment - St. Augustine Eco Tour's Headquarters are located in the heart of an amazing estuary and surrounded by the 73,352 acre GTMNERR Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve). This location offers countless trip destinations and wildlife viewing begins just feet away from the dock. The estuarine environment specific to southeastern North America is one of the most fertile on the planet. It is the productivity of this eco system that attracts amazing dolphin, bird, and sea turtle populations. Permanent, transient, & seasonal bird species are too numerous to mention. We have spotted and reported several rare bird sightings including; Long Tailed Ducks, Brown Boobies, & Common Eiders. The estuary harbors thousands of acres of salt marshes, millions of oysters, & unique hammock habitats. Explore with us in the calm rivers & creeks within the intracoastal waterway.

Our guides don't just tell you what you're seeing but WHY it's here! The collision of natural and historical elements make experiences with St. Augustine Eco Tours one of a kind and our guides will fill you in on both as you explore the elements of the estuary.
What makes us special #3 The Equipment
3. Equipment - St. Augustine Eco Tours utilizes kayaks & research/ rescue style boats to introduce guests to a variety of distinct habitats surrounding St. Augustine.
